Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Dulutd

Amazing!!!!! I had the prime rib. I order it medium rare. I didn't have to send it back. The mash potatoes was everything (garlic).

1st public meal since reopening, staff were all wearing mask, table sitting allowed for social distancing, Food was excellent, service was Great.

I went alone on a Saturday night and the staff were all really nice. The hostess, manager, and server were all REALLY patient and very attentive for a busy Saturday night. The food was absolutely delicious! The crab cake wasn't a typical crab cake it was ALL jumbo lump crab meat with no breading and the sauce that comes with it is amazing :) My steak was cooked PERFECTLY and the fried lobster tail had a delicious tempura batter on it! If it wasn't so expensive I'd go back every chance I get!

Best meal!! Every bite was delicious 😋. Must try the filet mignon and the mac and cheese 🧀! The creamed spinach and asparagus was delicious too. The desserts were very delicious, low price and very large portions. The rolls were amazing. I absolutely loved this restaurant and will go again ❤️❤️

Chose this as my daughter’s birthday dinner. Server was very kind but my wife and daughters steaks that were supposed to be medium came out well down. Desert had to be packaged and it was sub pare and one was forgotten. Definitely look at going to other restaurants before this one. Again server and manager nice, but that doesn’t make up for the food.

The food was superb! Really nice atmosphere, even for Sunday brunch. Service was a little slow, but they were moderately busy.

Amazing food & service! I got the steak and biscuits meal with their sweet potatoes. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Lately I haven't been satisfied with the service restaurants have been providing since re-opening, but today was absolutely wonderful! I dont have one bad thing to say about the food or the experience. Our server Tamera was excellent!!

We came here for a quick bite. Zero expectations. Left with a new favorite place to eat! Their SteakBurger is amazing. Service is great. Everything we ate was of high quality standards. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

This might be a skewed review as I didn't experience the entire restaurant atmosphere due to having been there for a private event and we had a specific menu.That said, the food we did have, was amazing. Everyone at my table ordered different entrees and we were very pleased. Our servers were attentive and knew the menu options well.I plan to go back and enjoy the actual restaurant atmosphere.

The quality of meat and service is fantastic. Really exceptional. If you are looking for a steak that is a cut above the rest, Stoney River is where you should be satisfied.

The Prime ribeye is huge, I like the shrimp very much especially the sauce！

Fantastic option! We do not live in Duluth but will travel to eat at Stoney River. The lobster bisque, wedge salad and rolls are amazing. The sea bass and steak options are also delicious. We are never disappointed. The portion sizes for the price are also reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

Second time visited. First time I was maybe 18 fresh out of high school and I always remembered it. Now 26, I visited on Valentine’s Day 2020 and it was just great! Food was of course so worth the price and tasted amazing. It was the best steak I’ve tasted in my life so far. And the server Connor was simply nice and comfortable. Atmosphere has that soft, warm and romantic glow. The shrimp appetizer and “The Prisoner” wine glass all fantastic. I would of course return here.

This was my third time coming to Stoney River over the course of 8 years. It's still just as good as I remember. The quality of the food is exceptional and the staff are all very friendly. I had the New York Strip and my wife had the salmon. The fireplace was burning, there was laughter in the air and my family had a wonderful time celebrating our 3 year old's birthday. We can't wait to come back!

Food was amazing nicely seasoned and very good portion temp was perfect could tell everything was freshly made. I don't know what kind of bread that was or the spread but I need that for my house lol it was something I'd never tasted and was taken by the flavor. Our server Tamera was so attentive and professional well trained she knew the menu and gave some great suggestions on starters and drinks and even a entree when my friend had no idea what to get. The setting was beautiful nicely dim but not too much we was able to still see the menu and our food . Our first time going and we will be back and requesting her as our server

We ordered a round of all the appetizers. Steak rolls kinda (like south western egg rolls at Chile's) but way better, deviled eggs,crab cakes, shrimp, tomatoes with mozzarella and onion strings. Omg very very good. Please order carrot cake. One slice fed 7 people. I enjoyed this place. Great service.

Fantastic steaks. You must try the gouda mac & cheese. It is to die for.

8th anniversary dinner. StarterTuna stack- round 4" high with tuna, mango salsa(mmmm), and avocado with a thin sesame chip. It was just right for 2.Lobster bisque- cup not bowl. Perfect amount of spice not overwhelming and flavor is perfect with the house made bread bites with house made butter. EntreéNY strip steak- medium. Has a perfect lightly topped butter sauce and beautiful pink to red inside. Outside is charred only enough to give flavor but still be edible, unlike other steak house processes I've attended. Au gratin potato, side of asparagus were perfect compliments to the dish.Ahi Tuna- 8 medallions cooked perfectly with a light sear and pink milky opaqueness. It melts almost without effort to chew. It's flavor is just enough to not over power the ahi itself. Complimented with a broccoli side. A nice seasoning is added to the broccoli to give a nice zest with the ahi.DessertCremè Bruleé & a thank you slice, on the house, of, to die for, chocolate cake.

This is my new favorite steakhouse!! Food was Superb and the service was excellent!

I’ve been here twice in the past year and I can truly say I recommend this place. The ribeye is amazing as well a the atmosphere and quality of service and food quality. I always receive great service and this past time our waiter “Jared” was amazing! We’ll definitely be back again hopefully sooner than later.

I place my order for prime riband mashed potatoes. You order was ready on time, cooked to perfection, and The taste was fantastic. We'll definitely visit again.

The last time I came here which was more than few years ago, I was so disappointed, I didn't even bother to rate the place. I just knew I would never be going back. Look at the ratings from other places. Not exactly the best.I was short on options for Father's Day but found they were open for brunch. Looking over the menu, it looked like it would be a pretty good experience. It was not at all as I remembered.First of all, brunch drinks like mimosas and sangrias are about $5. Much of the other entrees are quite affordable for a steak house. I wasn't expecting to go in to find excellent biscuits, shrimp, burgers, and... French toast. The Blood Mary was also pretty good, by the way.I will definitely be going back for another brunch treat whenever I lose 5 lbs from this visit.

Husband took me here, along with our kids, for Mother's Day brunch on Mother's Day (2017). He made a reservation and we were seated promptly. Really loved that. Often times at restaurants, even with a reservation, you end up waiting. I didn't know what I wanted. Several delicious sounding options. I opted for the french toast and it was EVERYTHING!!! Hands' down, the french toast is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The bacon was excellent too. They give you 4 nice sized pieces of french toast. My kids each had the stacked cheeseburger w/fries and both agreed it was really good. My husband had steak and eggs - which he said was delicious. He and I also had mimosa - again, delish! Next time, I'm going to try their Bellini. I'll definitely be returning. This was my (our) 1st time here and it did not disappoint!

The steaks are always the best cuts and cooked perfectly to your liking. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the dishes and render top notch service. Every time I've visited, l wanted to slap the cook, (because I'm not slapping my momma) because the food presentation and flavor are just as described on the menu but bursting with surprising flavor!

Incredible food with great service and a nearly perfect atmosphere. Don't short-change your experience by missing out on the appetizers and desserts. The coffee rubbed fillet mignon was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Try the au gratin potatoes and I highly recommend the carrot cake. But, be warned...it a monster! You'll need help or an insulin shot to finish it off.

Great place and awesome food. Nice portions. Nice menu and wine list. Great staff, (Melissa?). A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Yummy desserts, (including this ridiculous, huge, piece of chocolate fudge cake). Waiter pours hot chocolate sauce over it! Mmm...

Good food and drinks. But seems a little overpriced. Had the double bone pork chop only comes with one side. Had to order and additional side. Comfortable atmosphere. Very busy Friday nights made reservation in advance. Complementary valet parking too!!

I love Stoney River. Been several times and has not disappointed. Service has been excellent each visit. The chef's variation on the menu is both artistic and delicious. Prices are elevated but you have to pay a little extra for fine art.

Amazing food and very elegant atmosphere. I came during the Covid phase in and the restaurant is handing everything beautifully. Tables are already well spaced. They offer a full menu. And the food was perfect. Really fabulous for brunch. They will take reservations online. Dont miss!

A gem of a steakhouse. Smooth cocktails, fresh and delicious food and great service. The atmosphere will leave your date speechless, and your friends wanting to tell everyone about this spot.

We really enjoyed our meal and Marcus, our server, was very attentive and friendly. He made good recommendations on the menu. The staff we encountered were very nice as well.

It was my family and I first time eating here. We drove past the restaurant countless times but never stopped by to dine in. Our server jasmine was very nice and made our experience that much more rememberable. She recommended an appetizer that she really liked and we ordered it, turned out she was right about it. The bread was to die for she asked for a second batch. She also took an amazing family picture for us. Holding plates and silverware on one arm and my phone on the other to take the pic too. On top of that, our steaks, salmon, and ribs were cooked to perfection. Ended our wonderful evening with creme brûlée. We will return and recommend this restaurant to others.

Went for my grandmother's birthday and it was delicious and great service. Definitely coming back! Just make sure you make a reservation so you don't wait too long for a table.

Went to dinner the other night here and did not have a good experience. I have been to Stoney River on other occasions and it was wonderful, but not that night. We arrived at 6pm so it was not busy as they had just recently opened. Our server was training another girl so maybe she just had her hands full. Our entrees we both a mess. We wanted streaks since they have been so good in the past, but they could not seem to cook a medium steak that night. Had to return them twice because they were too overdone, no pink what so ever. After the second time of having to send them back to the kitchen we no longer wanted them. Also ordered the parm fries and they completely forgot about those. Drinks and soup was good just wish we could have had our meals though.

I went here on Sunday night around 5. Sat at the bar with finesse. Food was great and services were great. Upscale steakhouse with trendy atmosphere. Everyone was pleasant and nice. Drinks were strong. I liked the outside patio area where people can smoke. They had ashtrays in the front that was clean and looked brand new. That detail is rare to see. Restaurant was getting packed, a lot of people had their ordering for to go and the environment was clean. Great job!

Amazing service! Fantastic food. Great cocktails. This place is a no-brainer. Simply terrific.
